PT7 Academy's Reformer Pilates Instructor Course is ITTAP approved by the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), the international organization dedicated to elevating the Pilates profession and setting standards for teacher training worldwide.
Through PMA's ITTAP accreditation system, the Reformer Pilates Instructor Course has been reviewed and approved for its curriculum, assessment standards, and educational quality. Graduates who complete the full 300 hours program receive the PT7 Academy Reformer Pilates Instructor Certificate.

Become a Pilates instructor in Amsterdam
PT7 Academy is built for people who want Reformer teacher training in Amsterdam without quitting their job first. This weekend Pilates teacher training runs on selected weekends only at our working studio on Van Baerlestraat, Museumplein. Coaching is English-friendly, with Turkish and Dutch available in the studio community.

Weekend schedule
Four Reformer lecture weekends per term (12:00 to 18:00), plus observation, self practice, and teaching hours. Train at Museumplein and keep weekday work.
300-hour Reformer pathway
The Reformer course is PMA ITTAP approved, deeper than short mat-only intensives. Graduates receive the PT7 Academy Reformer Pilates Instructor Certificate (program-level ITTAP approval is not the same as a personal PMA membership card).

Lectures are not held every weekend. Each term runs on four selected weekends at PT 7, Museumplein, Amsterdam. Each lecture weekend runs 12:00 to 18:00. Curriculum Overview
This PMA ITTAP approved program combines theoretical knowledge with practical application to ensure a deep understanding of Pilates principles and teaching methodology.

During the course, participants will complete:
- 1 Theoretical Multiple-Choice Exam
- 1 Practical Exam
- Mandatory exercise assessment, checked by a lead trainer
The first attempt for both exams is free of charge. Any exam retakes are subject to an additional fee.
The exercise assessment is mandatory for certification, costs EUR 250 including BTW.
Course Requirements
No prior Pilates or teaching experience is required to enroll. During the program, participants complete assigned homework and pass the mandatory exercise assessment with a lead trainer.

Who is this Pilates teacher training for?
PT7 Academy suits career changers and aspiring instructors who want a serious Reformer pathway (300 hours, PMA ITTAP approved) on a weekend schedule at Museumplein, Amsterdam. No prior Pilates or teaching experience is required. Lectures are on selected weekends so you can keep weekday work. Do I need Pilates or teaching experience?
No. Prior Pilates practice or teaching experience is not required. The Reformer course starts from fundamentals (including anatomy) and builds through observation, self practice, and teaching practice. Career changers and complete beginners are welcome.
When are classes held?
Lectures are held on selected weekends, not every week. Reformer: Autumn 2026 (September–November) is fully booked. Next open Reformer term is Winter 2026/27 (November–January): 21–22 November 2026 (Pilates Introduction & Anatomy); 12–13 December 2026 (Reformer 1); 9–10 January 2027 (Reformer 2); 30–31 January 2027 (Reformer 3). Spring 2027 (March–May) is also open: 13–14 March 2027 (Pilates Introduction & Anatomy); 3–4 April 2027 (Reformer 1); 24–25 April 2027 (Reformer 2); 15–16 May 2027 (Reformer 3). Each lecture weekend runs 12:00 to 18:00, so you can keep your weekday job while you train.
